The Record Booklet

The New Reynell Developmental Language Scales are even easier to use than previous editions. The Record Booklet has been made clearer for you to use, with detailed instructions and a simple marking scheme.

The record formThe instructions in the Record Booklet are very important – it is vital that the exact wording for each item is used in order for the results to be interpreted correctly.

Most sections of the assessment have practice items outlined in the Record Booklet. These are given so that the tester can check that the child understands the procedure used. All practice items are shaded in the Record Booklet, and are not scored. Practice items may be repeated until the tester is confident that the child understands the procedure.

There are 25 Record Booklets included in the Complete Set, with bundles of extra Record Booklets available to be purchased at a later date.
